BF-1 network filter blocks – reliable protection of equipment from impulse and high-frequency interference.

BF-1 network filter blocks are designed to protect the two-wire circuit of ~230 V AC networks that power devices from impulse and high-frequency interference. The blocks are available in housings designed for mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail.

BF-1 provide protection of electrical equipment from interference penetrating from the network, as well as protection of the network from interference emissions from connected electrical equipment, which creates the prerequisites for reliable and trouble-free operation of equipment and systems.

BF-1 filter blocks effectively attenuate impulse interference from natural and man-made sources, such as:

  • lightning strikes near cables or power lines, which can cause damage at a distance of up to 20 km;
  • switching processes when turning on/off a powerful network load;
  • current surges during full on/off of the network voltage, substation accidents.

BF-1 also suppresses high-frequency network interference from:

  • switching power supplies for devices and equipment;
  • circuits of AC and DC voltage converters;
  • powerful engines, generators, welding machines, relays, gas-discharge lamps, etc.
