1️⃣ Functional Purpose

⚗️ PP-110 is a microprocessor-based potentiometric converter-regulator designed for:

  • 📏 measuring and regulating pH values or redox potential (Eh, mV/ORP) in aqueous solutions;
  • 🌡 monitoring and compensating for the influence of medium temperature (using an additional resistance temperature detector);
  • 🔄 converting the electromotive force of measuring electrodes into a standardized DC output signal;
  • 🏭 standalone or integrated use in ACS TP, SCADA, and industrial automation systems.

Thanks to its wide functional capabilities, the device is used in power engineering, metallurgy, chemical, food, and other industries.

2️⃣ Design Structure

PP-110 consists of two main units:

🧩 PP-110-1 – measuring converter that receives signals from:

  • pH electrodes (glass + reference electrode);
  • redox electrodes (metal + reference electrode).

🖥 PP-110-2 – microprocessor-based converter-regulator that performs signal processing, regulation, indication, and control of actuators.

The connection is made via the analog output of PP-110-1 to the input of PP-110-2. Additionally, a temperature sensor can be connected.

🎯 Purpose:

The PC-10-1 conductivity normalizing converter is designed for:

  • 📥 receiving a signal from a conductivity measuring cell;
  • 🔄 converting this signal into a standardized continuous DC output signal:
    • 0–5 mA,
    • 0–20 mA,
    • 4–20 mA.

Thus, the PC-10-1 provides normalization of conductivity signals for further indication, recording, or use in automated control and monitoring systems (ACS TP, SCADA, PLC).

🔧 Functional Capabilities:

  • 📥 Reception and processing of signals from a two-wire conductivity measuring cell.
  • 📊 Conversion of the resistance range (from 0 kΩ to 400 kΩ) into a standardized unified signal.

The measuring transducer ПП-110-1 is designed for:

  • 📥 receiving signals from potentiometric electrode systems used for determining:
    • ⚗️ pH of solutions (glass + reference electrode);
    • 🔋 redox potential (Eh, ORP) (metal + reference electrode);
  • 🔄 converting the electromotive force (EMF) arising between the sensing and reference electrodes into a standardized DC output signal;
  • 📤 transmitting this signal to the microprocessor controller unit ПП-110-2 for further processing, indication, and regulation.

Thus, ПП-110-1 serves as the primary measuring module within the ПП-110 system.

  • ⚗️ Connection of pH electrodes or ORP electrodes.
  • 📈 Conversion of a weak electrode signal (in the mV range) into a stable unified analog signal.
