The BPI‑52 interface converter is designed for:
- 🔄 Bidirectional signal conversion between RS‑485 and USB interfaces;
- ⚡ Operation in asynchronous data transfer mode, compatible with most industrial controllers and sensors;
- 🛡 Galvanic isolation between the industrial communication line and the personal computer;
- ✅ Reliable data exchange between industrial equipment and a PC without requiring a hardware COM port.
When connected to a PC, the device creates a virtual COM port, allowing the use of existing software (SCADA systems, configurators, monitoring systems) without additional adaptation.
Main Functions
- 🔄 Mutual signal conversion RS‑485 ↔ USB;
- ⚡ Automatic data direction detection for RS‑485 half‑duplex communication;
- 🛡 Galvanic isolation of interfaces, preventing damage to the PC and equipment due to potential differences or transient disturbances;
- 💻 Virtual COM port support, compatible with standard serial communication software;
- 🔋 Powered via USB, no external power supply required.
