The BRG-112 galvanic isolation block is designed for:

  • 🛡 Galvanic protection of electrical circuits operating with standardized analog signals (current or voltage);
  • 🔄 Signal conversion and matching between different parts of measurement or control systems;
  • Increasing the reliability of automation and process control (SCADA/PCS) systems by protecting receiving devices from overvoltage, interference, and potential shifts.

The device provides galvanic isolation of the input signal from the output, effectively eliminating the influence of noise and potential differences between system segments.

Functional Features

  • 🔒 Galvanic isolation: complete electrical separation between input and output circuits;
  • 🛡 Signal protection: reduces the impact of transients, induced voltages, and electromagnetic interference;
  • 🔄 Signal conversion: transmits an analog signal from a passive input to a standardized active output, ready to connect to controllers, data loggers, or display devices;
  • Stability and accuracy: maintains the signal’s form and amplitude during isolation and conversion.

Electrical Characteristics

  • Input: 1 passive, standardized (current or voltage signal: 0–5 mA, 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA, or 0–10 V);
  • Output: 1 active, standardized (current or voltage signal for connection to a receiving device);
  • 🛡 Galvanic isolation: provides complete electrical separation between input and output;
  • 🔋 Power supply: 230 V or 24 V.
