BUS-41 is designed to control the power of active loads (electric heaters, lamps, resistive elements) using the burst-firing (cycle control) method. Its operating principle is based on supplying an external analog control signal, which determines the duration of the triac’s ON state—i.e., the number of AC mains cycles during which the load remains powered. Switching occurs at the zero-crossing point of the AC voltage, which significantly reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and increases system reliability.
