🎯 Purpose

The Squid-5N-IO is a microprocessor-based multi-channel communication module designed for:

  • 📡 collecting analog and discrete signals from sensors and actuators;
  • ⚙️ controlling output channels within automated control systems (ACS TP) and telemetry;
  • 🌐 transmitting information and receiving commands via mobile networks (GPRS/3G/4G) and RS-485, USB interfaces – for configuration and logging;
  • 🛡 enabling remote monitoring, diagnostics, and dispatching of technological processes.

The module serves as a universal input/output node for SCADA systems, PLCs, and IoT solutions.

🔧 Functional Capabilities

📊 Data acquisition from built-in inputs:

  • up to 12 digital inputs (support for PNP/NPN signals);
  • up to 8 analog inputs (standardized signals: 0–5 mA, 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA, 0–10 V).

Output control:

  • up to 4 digital outputs (relay or transistor, depending on the modification);
  • modes: permanent (on/off);
  • safe state of outputs in case of communication loss.
